All configurations, scripts, and documentation are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or non-infringement.

2. Limitation of Liability & User Responsibility

StackSwitcher.com does not host, operate, monitor, or access your servers or data. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated configurations, replacing example passwords and secrets, configuring firewall rules, verifying software licenses, and testing data backups prior to deploying any software in a production environment.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall StackSwitcher.com, its creators, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, data loss, service downtime, security breaches, lost profits, or third-party cloud hosting charges) arising out of the use or inability to use our calculators, configuration files, or downloadable bundles. In all cases, total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the downloadable template pack, if any.

3. Trademark Non-Affiliation & Nominative Fair Use

All commercial SaaS product names, logos, and brands mentioned on StackSwitcher.com (including but not limited to Slack, Notion, 1Password, Datadog, Sentry, Auth0, Zapier, Salesforce, and Adobe) and all open-source project names are the property of their respective trademark holders. Use of these names is solely for nominative fair-use identification and comparative benchmarking. StackSwitcher.com is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any listed vendor or open-source project. SaaS pricing figures reflect publicly listed per-seat tiers as of 2026 and are estimates only.

4. Merchant of Record, Taxes & 14-Day Refund Policy

All paid digital downloads and subscriptions are processed by Polar.sh acting as the official global Merchant of Record. Polar.sh handles payment processing, invoicing, and automatic VAT/GST/sales tax compliance worldwide. If you are unsatisfied with a paid template bundle for any reason, email support@stackswitcher.com within 14 days of purchase for a full, no-questions-asked refund.

5. Privacy, Zero Cookies & Governing Law

StackSwitcher.com does not use cookies, advertising pixels, third-party trackers, or user accounts. We do send a few anonymous event pings (like pageviews), explained on our Privacy page. All stack calculations and configuration generation run locally inside your web browser. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
