Privacy
Short version: no cookies, no accounts, no third-party trackers or analytics scripts, and we never ask for your email. Last updated .
1. Everything runs in your browser
The stack calculator and the Docker Compose / Kubernetes generator run locally with JavaScript. The tools you pick, your team size and the configs you generate are not sent to any server of ours. There is no backend database and no login.
2. No cookies, no third-party trackers
We do not set cookies and we do not load Google Analytics, ad pixels, retargeting tags or any other third-party tracking or analytics script.
3. The anonymous event pings we do send
To see which pages and buttons are useful, each page sends a few small anonymous pings to a public ntfy.sh topic. They contain no name, email, account or device ID:
- Pageview: the page path and query string, the referring page (or "direct"), your browser window width, and an
ai_sourcecategory (chatgpt, perplexity, claude, gemini, copilot, other_ai or none) worked out from the referrer. - Config generation: that a generator, copy or download button was used, and which one.
- Checkout click: which Buy link was clicked (its placement on the page and which product).
Because the topic is public, anyone with its name could read these pings, which is why we keep them free of personal data. ntfy.sh, like any web service, sees the IP address of the request when a ping arrives, under its own policies. We do not get it in the data we read and we do not store it.
4. Payments go through Polar.sh
If you buy a pack, checkout happens on Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. Polar handles your payment details, billing info, receipts and sales tax under Polar's own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
5. Hosting
The site is a set of static files hosted on Surge. Like any host, Surge handles the web requests that load the pages, under its own policies.
6. No email collection
There is no newsletter or signup form. If you email us, we only use your message to reply.
